According to Tom Ellis, vice president and general manager of Trimble's Mobile Positioning and Communications division, the company has customers in the long hauling as well as the ocean shipping arenas.
TeleCommunication Systems Inc (TCS) (NasdaqGM: TSYS), a provider of mission critical wireless communications, reported yesterday (2 February) a multi-year contract agreement with Cricket Communications, extending the partnership between the two since 2001.A TCS will provide its suite of E9-1-1 Services to Cricket's presence all over the US, including a Hosted Mobile Positioning Center (MPC) and Hosted Position Determining Entity (HPDE), as per the contract.
