As an additional control,
fibrin glue without cells (prepared identically to as described above) was included in the experimental set-up.
The donor site was closed with
fibrin glue. Antibiotic steroid ointment was applied to the operated eye, and a pressure patch was kept in place for 24 hours.
The dural and tegmen defects were repaired by using tensor fascia lata, auricular conchal cartilage grafts, and autogenous
