[TA] terminal sensory portion of the deep fibular (peroneal) nerve on the dorsum of the foot, remaining after the motor branches to the extensor digitorum brevis and extensor hallucis brevis muscles have been supplied; provides cutaneous innervation to a small, wedge-shaped area that includes the adjacent sides of the great and second toes.
