Thymic corpuscles could be observed in the medulla.
There were three types of thymic corpuscles in the ostrich thymus, which were similar in structure to those observed in broiler chickens, ducks, and white leghorns (Wei et al.; Yu et al.; Yuan et al.).
In broiler chickens, ghrelin-ip cells have been identified in thymic epithelial cells, thymic corpuscles, and macrophages (Wei et al.).
