To the best of our knowledge, to date, no case of SNF accompanied by an eruptive
seborrheic keratosis has been reported in the literature.
The benign lesions included dermal nevus, nevus sebaceous, Becker's nevus,
seborrheic keratosis, compound nevus and verrucous epidermal nevus.
Seborrheic keratosis is considered to represent a clonal expansion, so the lesion qualifies as a neoplasm.
The important consideration in these cases is not the horn, but the underlying pathology which may be benign (
Seborrheic keratosis, viral warts, histiocytoma, inverted follicular keratosis, verrucous epidermal nevus, molluscum contagiosum, etc.), premalignant (Solar keratosis, arsenical keratosis, Bowen's disease) or malignant (Squamous cell carcinoma, rarely basal cell carcinoma, metastatic renal carcinoma, granular cell tumour, sebaceous carcinoma or Kaposi's sarcoma.
These include common melanocytic nevi or moles,
seborrheic keratosis, lentigines, pigmented actinic keratosis, pigmented BCC, dermatofibroma etc.
However, this fea-ture is not pathognomonic for porokeratosis and can be found in a number of other dermatological conditions, which include
seborrheic keratosis, verruca vulgaris, actinic keratosis, squa-mous cell carcinoma in situ, basal-cell carcinoma, milia, and scars.

Some entities that can mimic melanoma include a halo nevus, solar lentigo, traumatized blue nevus,
seborrheic keratosis, pigmented basal cell carcinoma, pigmented Bowen's disease, pigmented squamous cell carcinoma, and thrombosed angioma.
