Hypertrophy of the nose with follicular dilation, resulting from hyperplasia of sebaceous glands with fibrosis and increased vascularity; a form of acne rosacea.

A popular term for the condition of RHINOPHYMA in which overgrowth of sebaceous tissue and blood vessels causes a bulbous deformity. A feature of some cases of ACNE ROSACEA.
