perineal fascia
[TA] fascia that intimately invests the superficial perineal muscles (ischiocavernosus, bulbospongiosus, and superficial transverse perineal): anteriorly, it is fused to the suspensory ligament of the penis/clitoris and is continuous with the deep fascia covering the external oblique muscle of the abdomen and the rectus sheath.
