Mucoepidermoid carcinoma, the most common malignant tumour in the present study, was found in 5th to 7th decade and involved parotid gland in six cases out of 8 (7.01%) cases and two cases were in minor salivary glands.

The differential diagnosis of SC is wide and includes, in addition to zymogen granule poor ACCi, low-grade cribriform cystadenocarcinoma (LGCCC), low-grade

Conclusion: Pleomorphic adenoma was the commonest benign salivary gland tumor and
mucoepidermoid carcinoma was the commonest malignant tumor.
