(hī'pĕr-pip'ĕ-kō'lă-mē-ă), [MIM*239400]

A metabolic disorder in which serum concentration of pipecolic acid is greatly increased; characterized by hepatomegaly and progressive generalized demyelination of the nervous system.

Synonym(s): hyperpipecolic acidemia
