At the age of 33, the arteriovenous malformation was surgically removed, resulting in a dense left
homonymous hemianopia.
Of the eight patients with OTS, six had incomplete
homonymous hemianopia and two had complete
homonymous hemianopia.
Patients with hemiparesis,
homonymous hemianopia and new disorders of higher cerebral dysfunction e.g.
Neurologic deficit was localized to the left side and revealed a
homonymous hemianopia, facial weakness, deviation of the tongue to the left, flaccid hemiparesis, hypoesthesis to pinprick sensation, hyperreflexia, and Babinski sign.
02 OxSight Prism glasses are designed to help people with peripheral vision loss such as glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa and
homonymous hemianopia.
In the present study, among the non-epileptic manifestations, headache with or without vomiting (10, 19.23%) was the most common presentation followed by hemiparesis 8 (15.38%), either of right or left,
homonymous hemianopia 6 (11.54%), and hemichorea 6 (11.54%) in cases of single ring enhancing computed tomography lesion [Table-3].
Neurologic examination showed left
homonymous hemianopia, increased deep tendon reflexes in the left hemibody, and the Babinski sign on the left hallux.
Our neurological evaluation revealed dysarthria, right side paresthesias, and left limbs ataxia in addition to right lateral
homonymous hemianopia that was secondary to the previous ischemic event.
Physical examination revealed right

This study aimed to determine whether it is possible to predict driving safety of individuals with
homonymous hemianopia or quadrantanopia based upon a clinical review of neuroimages that are routinely available in clinical practice.
Retrochiasmal optic tract pathology results in contralateral
homonymous hemianopia. Hemianopia due to the lesion in anterior optic tract is characteristically non congruous, while that due to pathology in posterior optic radiations and occipital cortex are highly congruous1.
So while
homonymous hemianopia, hemianesthesia, hemiparesis, or other sensory and motor impairments may occur with UN, they do not cause UN and can be doubly disassociated from it.
