Nodular dermatofibrosis, also known as multiple CN (SCOTT et al., 1984) or multiple cutaneous fibroma (GOLDSCHMIDT & SHOFER, 1992), is characterized by the progressive development of multiple firm and clearly encircled collagenic cutaneous nodules.
Biochemical analyses show that elastoidin presents two different fractions: a collagenic (containing glycine, prolyne and hidroxiprolyne) and a non collagenic (the elastoidin richer in tirosyn than collagen) (Bouvet, 1974; Gross and Dumsha, 1958).
