The patient with tonsillar lymphoma had weight loss, fever, rapid onset of upper airway obstruction, significant
cervical lymphadenopathy (nodes >5 cm), and tonsil size grade 4 and clinically symmetrical.

Cervical lymphadenopathy: ratio of long- to short-axis diameter as a predictor of malignancy.
(1) Their initial description of the disease included the presence of massive bilateral
cervical lymphadenopathy. Since then, limited reports in the literature have described extranodal involvement with or without lymphadenopathy.
The characteristic feature of KD is painless but sometimes tender unilateral
cervical lymphadenopathy. Occasionally, it may also present as hepato-splenomegaly4 but in our patient the generalized lymphadenopathy and splenomegaly was absent.

The child may have
cervical lymphadenopathy, and the rash can be variable.
Diagnostic tonsillectomy is indicated in children with asymmetrically enlarged tonsils associated with constitutional symptoms,
cervical lymphadenopathy rapid tonsil enlargement or significant tonsillar asymmetry.
Diffuse infiltrative lymphocytic syndrome is associated with diffuse visceral infiltration, a persistent CD8 lymphocytosis, bilateral parotid swelling, and
cervical lymphadenopathy. Cysts are thought to arise from intra- or periparotidal lymph nodes that may contain intrasalivary inclusions.
