cerebropathy

(1) A hypochondriacal condition verging upon insanity, occurring in those whose brains have been unduly strained.
(2) An older, nonspecific term for any pathology of the brain.

Cerebropathy is not used in the working medical parlance, replaced by brain disease.

2. A disorder of the brain parenchyma, as distinct from a disorder of the meninges.
