Occurrence is usually in the midline; however, cases occurring in the nasal root [5], in the lateral
canthus [5], bilaterally [6], and in the chin [12] have been documented.
Main observation outcomes: location of LSC, range, relationships with the surrounding tissues, internal echo and echo type, angular artery imaging, vertical distances from the angular artery to the medial
canthus and skin, trans diameter of angular artery.
In this study, measurements of the gonion- comissuralabiorum, gonion- lateral
canthus and tragus- comissuralabiorum distances in the study group on postoperative day 2 were significantly different (pless than 0.05) from the control group, suggesting a reduction in facial swelling.
On external examination, a soft prominence was noted in the right medial
canthus. Flexible nasoendoscopy revealed the presence of a polypoid mass that had emerged from the left middle meatus and prolapsed into the nasal cavity (figure 1).

canthus and eyelids following tumor excision," Saudi Journal of Ophthalmology, vol.
Recurrence was seen in a 75-year-old male patient with nodular clinical lesion and infiltrative pathology with 20 mm diameter at inner
canthus.

The caruncle on the nasal
canthus contains both conjunctival and cutaneous structures and tumours can be of skin or mucosal origin.
