The presence of differently display cDNA bands indicated that genes representing the particular cDNA were differently expressed in that particular sample compared to others.
Isolation of the pPICZ[alpha]A/synthetic huIFN[alpha]2 recombinant plasmid containing the cDNA sequence encoding synthetic human IFN[alpha]2a was performed by colony PCR using the 5' FfgsI forward and 3' RIFN[alpha]2 reverse primers (Table 1) as described in reference [17] and by restriction analysis using EcoRI and NotI as recommended by the manufacturer (Amersham Biosciences, Athens, Greece).
Stage-specificity of the primers: In order to ascertain their stage-specificity, the three primer pairs were tested for amplification of the cDNA generated from 50 mf, two each of [L.sub.1] and [L.sub.2], and one [L.sub.3] stage larvae.
Ho and colleagues (2001) employed this approach to identify genes whose expression may be altered in patients with moderate dementia, using high-throughput cDNA microarrays to screen almost 6,800 genes.
To examine whether substances that coprecipitated with RNA inhibited PCR amplification, RT-PCR amplification of RPL3 was performed using mixtures of cDNA templates.
The sequence of Wild Argali SPLUNC1 cDNA and the inferred amino acids was shown in Figure 2B.
First strand cDNA was synthesized using a PrimeScriptTM RT Reagent Kit (TaKaRa).
For each sample, 20 [micro]L reactions were prepared containing 1X Bio-Rad RT-dPCR SuperMix, 900 nmol/L each of forward and reverse primer, 250 nmol/L of each probe in a duplex reaction and 1 [micro]L of cDNA. As with the QS3D, triplicate reactions were performed for samples in the 4 highest disease level categories and 9 replicate reactions were performed for the lower disease groups and controls.
While 318 low-quality sequences were determined in prenatal cDNA library, 340 low-quality sequences were removed in cDNA library which was constructed at postnatal stage (Table 1).

3'RACE of MSI1: MSI1 3'RACE cDNA was obtained using Superscript III reverse transcriptase.
