A study to evaluate the Use of Rosuvastatin in subjects On Regular haemodialysis: an Assessment of survival and cardiovascular events. A trial assessing whether rosuvastatin reduced morbidity and mortality in patients with end-stage renal disease undergoing chronic haemodialysis, irrespective of their baseline lipid status.
Conclusion Rosuvastatin lowered LDL cholesterol but had no significant effect on the composite primary end point of death from cardiovascular causes, nonfatal myocardial infarction, or nonfatal stroke.
