Patient was evaluated for the fractures with Computerised Tomography of facial skeleton which showed bilateral condylar dislocation posteriorly, causing occlusion of bilateral external
auditory canals, with no evidence of any condylar fractures.
Then the internal tympanum was exposed by lifting and pushing the tympanic flap of ear canal skin through the external
auditory canal, after which lesions were cleared from two sides of the tympanum and mastoid (Fig.1 and Fig.2).
The chorda tympani nerve was separated, anteplaced, and adhered to the posterior wall of the external
auditory canal with medical glue to maintain its integrity.

Clinical studies show that about half of children have wax in their external
auditory canal blocking 25% of the view, and one-quarter have wax blocking 50% of the view.
