La primera implicacion funcional del intercambiador velloso intestinal es que una parte de los solutos absorbidos desde la luz intestinal se mueve en pro del gradiente de concentracion, hasta la arteriola central en su parte no muscular.
El primero esta formado por arterias, arteriolas y venulas que llegan hasta el epineuro.
