GRIP2

A gene on chromosome 3p24-p23 that encodes a protein which is thought to play a role as a scaffold for assembling a multiprotein signalling complex and mediating trafficking of its binding partners at specific subcellular sites in neurons. GRIP2 interacts with CSPG4, EFNB1, EFNB3, GRIA2, GRIA3 and GRIPAP1; it can form homomultimers or heteromultimers with GRIP2.
