By weak dominance, y [in] [[A.sup.*].sub.i] for all i [in] C, and hence y [in] [A.sup.*].
But, since [[delta].sub.j] = 1, this means that j's acceptance set violates weak dominance: [[rho].sub.i] [greater than] 0 for all i [in] N implies u, [less than] [v.sub.j]([[pi].sup.*]), so in equilibrium we must have [x.sub.k] [[ IN]] [[A.sup.*].sub.j].
