Cardiology A combining of cardiovascular benefits of dobutamine therapy, where there is moderate vasodilating activity, minimal ↑ in myocardial O2 consumption–MOC, ↑ cardiac output with little change in MOC; VVC ↓ as dose ↑, due to positive chronotropic effects. See Dobutamine.
