u·vu·la of blad·der[TA]
a slight projection into the cavity of the bladder, usually more prominent in old men, just behind the urethral opening, marking the location of the middle lobe of the prostate.
A median projection of mucous membrane of the urinary bladder located immediately anterior to the orifice of the urethra.

a rounded elevation at the neck of the bladder, formed by convergence of muscle fibers terminating in the urethra. Called also uvula vesicae.
