undescended testicleA testicle that has remained in the abdomen, where testicles normally develop, or in the inguinal canal by which they normally descended to the SCROTUM. Undescended testicles do not become fertile and are more than normally prone to cancer later in life. For these reasons it is wise to have an undescended testicle brought down in childhood.
