The nonacetylated salicylates, including salsalate, magnesium choline trisalicylate
, and diflunisal, as well as several of the nonsalicylate NSAIDs, such as low-dose etodolac, low-dose ibuprofen, and nabumetone, are reportedly less toxic to the GI mucosa than the other NS-NSAIDs.
