Q. can chinese medicine treat temporal hearing lose? I had a temporal hearing lose 3 months ago which lasted about 3 weeks. It was very frightening and I'd like to prevent it from happening again, Can chinese medicine help diagnose the cause of it and by that promise it wont happen again?

A. maybe so, all you have to do is go and get a diagnose. maybe there's something to be done and maybe not. it all depends on what caused the hearing loss. was it on both sides or just one side? was it sudden or it took some time of hearing impairment? i would go to a western doctor also and check it out.

Q. What are side effects after you have had a temporal arteritis biopsy?

A. like every biopsy- when there are anatomical variations you might cause damage. but that is fairly rare...from what i remember it's a very safe procedure.
