Term used to describe multiple copies of the same sequence in a polynucleic acid that lie adjacent to one another.

1. A long narrow tube designed to fit inside the endocervical canal and uterine cavity; used in conjunction with ovoids to treat gynecologic malignancies with a radioactive source.
