' A radiologic finding in which the heart appears as if suspended in the mid-thorax–ie, cardio-thoracic 'separation', when viewed in a left oblique and occasionally in the right oblique position; the 'syndrome' is accompanied by low T waves in the II lead and a prominent S-T depression in the III lead and has no known clinical significance
