sulphonamides in edible animal tissues using QuEChERS extraction and HPLC-MS/MS," Analytical Methods, vol.
Concerning the sites of antibiotic action (Figure 1C), more than 70% were resistant to, at least, one of the antimicrobials that block or inhibit protein synthesis (gentamicin, neomycin, tetracycline, doxycycline, chloramphenicol, florfenicol); nucleic acid synthesis (enrofloxacin, norfloxacin, ciprofloxacin and nalidixic acid); and folate synthesis (
sulphonamide and trimethoprim-sulphonamide combinations).
Both nitro and
sulphonamide groups are an efficient -I, -R group, but the nature of the latter (low logP value) is more hydrophilic than the former (high logP value).
(2013) since it presented two different ligands, a
sulphonamide and a vinyl
sulphonamide that caused changes in the switch II region to accommodate the ligand [28].
A series of N-Mannich bases of isatin 8(a-e) were prepared with 4-amino-N-carbamimidoyl benzene
sulphonamide (Figure 8).
With Deltaprim retailing at US$ 4,00 for 30 this hardly holds true, and this is what most people in Zimbabwe use, barring those with
sulphonamide allergy.
[7] via grinding a schiff base derived from benzaldehyde and
sulphonamide with metal salts of Cu(II), Ni(II) and Co(II) to give neutral complexes of configuration [M[(L).sub.2].[([H.sub.2]O).sub.2]].C[L.sub.2].
Patients were excluded from the study if they had taken less than four days of MDT or if they had been prescribed any
sulphonamide drug, which could confound the results of the urine spot test.
Antibiotic categories were penicillins, cephalosporins, macrolides,
sulphonamide or other.
Serological analyses can be performed on thousands of samples within 24 hours, like the coming RnAssay[TM] product, Sulfo Plex[TM], for the detection of residues of
sulphonamide antibiotics in meat, milk, plasma and serum.
The honey, made by Natural Choice, comes in glass jars with a gold, screw-top lid, and has been found to contain chloramphenicol and
sulphonamide residues.
