sulphasalazine

Sulfasalazine, a compound of a SULPHONAMIDE DRUG and 5-aminosalicylic acid used to treat RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, ULCERATIVE COLITIS and CROHN'S DISEASE. The drug is on the WHO official list. A brand name is Salazopyrin.
