a sulcus continuing the direction of the cingulate sulcus from where the marginal part of that fissure bends upward; it forms the upper boundary of the posterior portion of the cingulate gyrus.

subparietal sulcus

A groove that continues the path of the cingulate sulcus posteriorly, although the subparietal and the cingulate sulci are not directly connected.
