Mapping of cases on the spot map
revealed that most (80%) of the cases were clustered along the western bank of the River Yamuna, that borders the study area.
These cases were described in terms of time, place and person distribution through epidemic curve, spot map
and frequency table respectively to formulate aetiological hypotheses.
