A cyst of the EPIDIDYMIS that contains fluid and SPERMATOZOA. Spermatocoeles are harmless unless large, when they can be removed surgically.

In our study of 46 cases of non-inflammatory scrotal swellings, we noted 6 cases of epididymal cysts, 3 cases of spermatocoeles. Out of 6 cases of epididymal cysts, 5 were unilateral, 1 was bilateral and 2 cases showed multiple cysts.
