Although data were generated for seven CASA parameters for each sperm track
, some of these measures were significantly correlated with each other and therefore are not independent.
Consequently, sperm tracks
were analyzed in two categories as defined by cells swimming either [less than or equal to] 100 [micro]m or > 100 [micro]m away from the surface of a freshly spawned egg or a microsphere.
Using a computer to capture the data, several hundred sperm tracks
from an individual tom can be analyzed.
