SSTR1

A gene on chromosome 14q13 that encodes a G protein-coupled somatostatin receptor with higher affinity for somatostatin-14 than -28. It interacts with SKB1 and is expressed in foetal kidney and foetal liver, and in the adult pancreas, brain, lung, jejunum and stomach.
