SELECT

A double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 32,400 men with apparently normal prostate glands and normal PSA levels, designed to determine the value of selenium and vitamin E in preventing prostate cancer. The trial was started in 2001 and the final results will not be available until 2013.
