Patient discussion about scalp
Q. my daughter gets a flaky scalp - comes and goes, this bout is worse than previous. Any advice/help please Her scalp is very dry & flaky - and has come about very quickly this time round. She is 14 years of age. She has with past treatments used ketopine shampoo and nizoral cream - ketoconazole 2%w/w. We do not seem to be getting as good results this time round - maybe because of the severity of the condition. I would like to know if there are other more effective treatments and what preventers we could try. Would appreciate any advice you could give. Kind Regards,
Q. Best way to treat psoriasis on your scalp? Cremes obviously don't work. Nothing helps but Denorex (acid)
