An obsolete, nonspecific term for any malignancy of mesenchymal tissues (sarcoma) that has focal "myxoid" features—e.g., myxoid leiomyosarcoma, malignant schwannoma with myxoid zones and others. Sarcoma myxomatodes is not a recognise pathological entity and is not used in the working medical parlance.
