ENT A salivary gland neoplasm, most of which arise in the epithelium; the most common SGT arises in the parotid gland, and is usually benign DiffDx Swelling in response to local infection, stones, systemic disease–eg, cirrhosis, sarcoidosis, abdominal surgery, CA, infection. See Mixed tumor.
