QOF target(redirected from quality and outcomes framework target)
QOF targetQuality and outcomes framework target. A generic term for objective annual targets for care improvements by GPs in the UK. QOF targets do not necessarily represent the latest National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) or evidence-based guidelines, and thus individual practices may work towards different targets. Local formularies are a good source for treatment protocols.
Example, QOF target
