INTRODUCTION: Pseudoexfoliation (PXF) first described by Lindberg (1) in 1917 and later on by Alfred Vogt (2) in 1918 means accumulation of grey white fibrogranular extracellular pseudoexfoliative material produced by abnormal basement membrane of ageing epithelial cells in trabeculum, equatorial lens capsule, pupillary margin of iris and ciliary body of the eye.
