Any of various cosmopolitan herbaceous plants of the genus Tribulus, especially T. terrestris, which has opposite, compound leaves and spiny fruit, and is used as a dietary supplement primarily for its perceived ability to enhance sexual desire and muscle mass. Also called tribulus.
