Anxiety-related dyspnea Clinical medicine Dyspnea that occurs in a background of emotionally stress, characterized by irregular breathing and prominent deep sighs; severe PD may be marked by hyperventilation, light-headedness, tingling of hands and feet, tachycardia, T wave inversion, syncope.
