pseudoisochromic plate

pseudoisochromic plate

A coloured plate comprised of variably sized dots of different colours, which are used to identify colour-blind individuals and classify the type of colour blindness—e.g., protanopia (red-green colour blindness) and deuteranopia (green colour blindness). Standard pseudoisochorme plates include the Ishihara atlas and Hardy-Rand-Rittler plates.
