FTIR spectra of the PA-F127 copolymer, PVA, pure glipizide, physical mixture
, and GN1 were taken in KBr pellets using a Bruker (1-206-0280 with software: OPUS-18.104.22.1684) spectrometer and the values of [lambda] max were reported in [cm.sup.-1] (range: 400-4000).
Three (3) formulations, each of solid dispersion (SD) and physical mixture
(PM) were prepared by using different drug to polymer ratios (1:4, 1:6 and 1:8) followed by evaluation for micromeritic properties, drug contents, and in vitro drug release studies, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and x-ray diffraction (XRD) studies.

The DSC profiles of pure components (terbuthylazine, HP-[beta]-CD) and binary systems (physical mixture
and inclusion complex) are shown in Figure 4.
ERT alone and ERT/HP-betaCD physical mixture
(ERT/HP-betaCD mix) were used as control.
where [DELTA]H BPQ PM is the enthalpy of fusion (J x [mg.sup.-1]) of BPQ in the binary physical mixture
of BPQ and solid lipid.
To verify if the polymer chains are actually end-tethered to the clay template in the nanocomposite, a comparison was made of the TEM images of the nanocomposite to TEM images of a physical mixture
of the clay and polymer.
The kneaded product (KP) and the physical mixture
(PM) were further experimentally examined, using FTIR, powder X-ray diffractometry, and thermal analysis.
Blackberry spirits were grouped in three different blocks: blackberry spirits performed in monoculture, binary physical mixture
blackberry spirits performed in monoculture, and spirits performed in mixed culture.
Pure Nifedipine, placebo mixture, physical mixture
and solid self emulsifying mixture with nifedipine was used for DSC, and X-ray diffraction experiments.
Then, microparticles containing the activated coground and, as comparison, the corresponding physical mixture
of extract and polymer and the dry extract alone were produced by spray congealing technology using Celucire [R] 50/13 as a hydrophilic low m.p.
