Tubular adenomas are pure adenomas; they belong to an uncommon subtype of fibroadenoma (pericanalicular
variant) often seen in young women.
(2) Juvenile fibroadenoma exhibits a pericanalicular
growth pattern, gynecomastoid-like epithelial hyperplasia, and an increased stromal cellularity.
The occurrence of BK viremia may be because that, activated BKV in renal tubular epithelial cell enters into blood circulation through pericanalicular
capillary; viremia and viruria are the outcomes of activation of BKV in epithelial cell and peripheral mononuclear cells, and they occur concurrently; virus enters into urine through renal metabolism.
Confocal microscopy images of F-actin stained with Phalloidin showed that, in PEG 35 pretreated livers, filamentous actin associated with the membrane microfilamentous network and the pericanalicular
band are kept preserved (Figure 5(a)).
Histopathological examination showed proliferation of benign glandular and stromal tissue, forming intracanalicular and pericanalicular
pattern of growth (Figure 3).

Microscopically, fibroadenomas show biphasic growth with ductular and stromal proliferation; the latter may show a predominant intracanalicular or pericanalicular
growth pattern with varying degrees of cellularity, but neither pattern is prognostically important.
Fibroadenoma may show intracanalicular or pericanalicular
pattern, depending upon the amount of stroma.
