Subjective information generated directly by a patient/subject through interviews, self-completed questionnaires or other capture tools (e.g., diaries) about his or her life, health condition(s) and treatment. Patient-reported outcomes are used to assess outcomes from the patients’/subjects' perspective, including perceptions, symptoms, satisfaction with treatment, adherence to prescribed regimens, etc.
