par·a·tri·gem·i·nal syn·drome

(pară-trī-jemi-năl sindrōm)
A transitory condition, usually in males, associated with interruption of sympathetic pathways in a trigeminal nerve; characterized by unilateral ptosis and deep facial pain.
Synonym(s): incomplete Horner syndrome, Raeder syndrome.
