the disease caused by infestation of ruminants with stomach flukes. Adult flukes cause weight loss, loss of production and anemia. Immature flukes cause diarrhea also. Called also stomach fluke disease. See also paramphistomum, calicophoron, ceylonocotyle and cotylophoron.
