paracentral sulcus

a sulcus on the medial surface of the hemisphere, sometimes regarded as a branch of the cingulate sulcus, located between the anterior portions of the paracentral lobule and the caudal aspect of the medial frontal gyrus.

A curved fissure (sulcus) on the medial surface of the cerebral hemisphere, bounding the paracentral gyrus and separating it from the precuneus and the cingulate gyrus.
