paedophilia

Recurrent sexual urges towards a prepubertal child by a person over the age of 16 and at least five years older than the child. If manifested, these urges, which constitute criminal sexual molestation, usually involve fondling of the genitals and oral intercourse. Vaginal or anal intercourse is relatively infrequent except in cases of incest. Active paedophilia is not a medical or psychiatric condition; it is a crime universally condemned. The Internet has become a vehicle both for the promulgation of paedophilic graphics and for the promotion of paedophilic contacts.
